Trustees

The Trustees Chairman and Board of Trustees manages church property, equipment and investments to support the vision and mission of our church.

Tasks/Assignments

· Organize painting, cleaning, and repair of existing property and new building projects
· Provide lawn care (volunteer or contract), including the maintenance of flower beds
· Oversee, maintain and supervise all local church property, reporting annually to the charge conference
· Receive and administer all gifts made to the congregation
· Make certain that all trust funds of the congregation are invested properly
· Ensure the Articles of Incorporation of the congregation are kept up to date
· Responsible for adequate insurance coverage on all church property
· Submit annual budget requests to committee to finance property maintenance and improvement, as well as new property purchases
· Accountable to the charge conference and the church council

Why Does This Ministry Exist?

To ensure that the facility and property are maintained in a manner that will support and enhance the other ministries of the congregation.
