Ellerbe Road United Methodist Church

The Communications Chairman and Committee are responsible for internal and external promotion of Church related activities and news to Church Members and potential members.

· Create and Publish Bulletin for scheduled Church services.
· Information provided by Pastor, Music Director and others.
· Insert information into Microsoft Word Template
· Duplicate completed Bulletin using a copier.
· Create and Publish Monthly Newsletter
· Assemble information provided by Church Members leading events, programs, etc.
· Prepare and send news releases for area media to about upcoming events on an as needed basis.
· Creation and Publish Church Brochures
· Coordinate the production of any signage needed to promote the location of the Church or scheduled events.
· Creation of a website

To serve the church and our members by providing comprehensive communication planning. Develop and execute specific strategies to carry out the vision and mission of the congregation. To tell our Church story.
